Q What is the passing grade for the new (2007 onwards) HKCEE Chinese Language subject?
A  From 2007 onwards, Level 2 in HKCEE Chinese Language is considered equivalent to a pass (Grade E) in the subject.
   
Q Am I eligible to apply for admission to the University if I do not have a Chinese Language qualification at HKCEE level?
A For applicants without a Chinese Language qualification at HKCEE Level, they may substitute the subject by an alternative language other than Chinese and English. For these applicants, they must have an additional AL/AS subject to substitute for AS Chinese Language & Culture.
   
Q Am I eligible for admission to the University if I have never attempted HKALE Chinese Language and Culture subject?
A For applicants who have never attempted HKALE Chinese Language and Culture subject, they must have an additional AL/AS subject to substitute for AS Chinese Language & Culture.
